This Acceptable Use Policy explains what is not allowed when using Markoni websites, demos, dashboards, APIs, AI workflows or related services.
This policy applies to Customers, prospects, website visitors, users and anyone accessing Markoni.
1. General rule
You may use Markoni only for lawful, authorized and commercially reasonable purposes related to hospitality, travel, experiences, Guest communication, booking workflows and property operations.
You may not use Markoni in a way that harms Guests, Customers, our systems, third-party systems, public trust or applicable law.
2. Prohibited conduct
You must not:
- Access or attempt to access data, accounts or systems without authorization.
- Circumvent authentication, authorization, rate limits or security controls.
- Probe, scan or test vulnerabilities without written permission.
- Send malware, harmful code or malicious payloads.
- Interfere with the availability or performance of Markoni.
- Use Markoni to send spam or unauthorized marketing.
- Mislead Guests or impersonate another business.
- Provide false rates, policies, offers or availability.
- Use Markoni for unlawful discrimination, harassment or abuse.
- Process personal data without lawful rights or consent where required.
- Use AI outputs without appropriate review for high-risk workflows.
- Use Markoni for emergency, medical, legal, safety-critical or high-risk financial decisions without proper human oversight.
- Use Markoni to build or train a competing product without authorization.
- Scrape, copy or extract content from Markoni at scale.
3. Messaging and outbound communication
If you use Markoni for WhatsApp, email, voice or outbound campaigns, you are responsible for:
- Obtaining required consent.
- Using approved templates where required.
- Honoring opt-outs.
- Avoiding misleading claims.
- Respecting applicable quiet hours or communication restrictions.
- Ensuring that offers, prices and policies are accurate.
4. Data handling
You must not submit data to Markoni unless you have the right to do so.
This includes Guest data, staff data, booking data, payment-related data, property data and operational data.
5. AI supervision
You are responsible for configuring and supervising AI workflows appropriately.
You must not rely on AI outputs as the sole basis for sensitive, irreversible or high-impact decisions unless the workflow has been properly configured, tested and approved.
6. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend, restrict or terminate access if we believe your use creates legal, security, operational, reputational or safety risk.
